Summary: A simple MILTER application to be used with Sendmail
 
MIMEDefang is an e-mail filter program which works with Sendmail 8.11 or newer
(8.12 recommended.) MIMEDefang filters all e-mail messages sent via SMTP.
MIMEDefang splits multi-part MIME messages into their components and
potentially deletes or modifies the various parts. It then reassembles the
parts back into an e-mail message and sends it on its way.

MIMEDefang uses the "milter" feature of Sendmail to "listen in" to SMTP
connections.

The following PERL modules are required:
        MIME::tools 5.410 or higher
        IO::stringy 1.212 or higher
        MIME::Base64 2.11 or higher
        MailTools 1.1401 or higher
	File::Scan 0.20 or higher

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CONFIGURATION VIA THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE README
FILE.  PLEASE NOTE THAT PROPER CONFIGURATION WILL REQUIRE A REBUILD OF
THE sendmail.cf FILE AND A RESTART OF THE sendmail DAEMON.
